![]() ![]() Very VERY little of this stuff is still online, so I thought I'd do some video capturing of a bunch of games for prosperity. Testing to see how many of them still actually work (Turns out, most of them! Though K&P games won't work on Windows 10, so I had to use an old Windows 7 laptop) So if you have FS version set to low sound, your DT version will also be low.(That is the only thing they share.)Įdited by xenonph, 13 February 2016 - 02:10 AM.Recently went through an old disc of mine which had a backup of Sonic Fan Game HQ from back in 2002 - 2004. You can check here for a list of VBS Dependent Tables.Īnd here on what to edit in script to make them run from scripts folder. These are the folders I run my tables from. I actually have the ones that use ROMS seperated from the others too. (A handful of tables (over 30) will need script adjustment if running from scripts folder.) I place them each in there seperate folders (DT- FS) and just add the vbs scripts to both folders or run the vbs scripts from scripts folder. Not the ROM or CONFIG file.īut it is wise to seperate your DT version tables from your FS versions. How do "End" the game & where do the volume numbers show up?ĭoesn't matter if they are shared, as all the changes come from table script. I put the ROM back in & the table played but still had the low ROM sound. cfg file & tried to play the game & of course it did not work. cfg file for each of the ROMs & so far the desktop & FS tables are using the same ROM. I wondered if having both versions creates a conflict because I notice there is only one. But today I downloaded the desktop version & noticed the faint voice in the background. Of course I didn’t know what to expect & maybe it was also low back then. I did try the FS Attack From Mars the other day & did not notice any sound issues. I’m using a PC with a single monitor but have tried a few FS cabinet tables. I don’t see any numbers, where do they appear? Maybe since the game was not properly stopped the numbers didn't display? Message #2 here says “you can try to rise the volume to like 24 with button '8'/'9'“. The Preferences indicate "Q" exits the game so I tried that, Perhaps I didn’t stop it properly. Pressing the Enter key doesn’t stop the game. The comments say to press the “end” button, but I don‘t see any end” button. I tried that & it didn’t seem to make any difference. There were a couple comments about the table in the download section about low volume & to change it you have to stop the game & then press “8” or “9”. ![]() Mine has maximum to the left instead of to the right, is that normal? ![]() ![]() Which is the same as a few other tables I looked at. When playing the game I tried the “+” and “-” keys which bring up the volume setting at the bottom of the screen and mine is all the way to the left most yellow bar. In the Preferences > Audio Options both sliders are set to the max. So I guess it would be the ROM sounds that are extremely low, such as when a voice says Mars is attacking or something similar. The playfield sounds are just fine & appear to be a similar volume compared to the other tables I’ve tried. I’m having sound problems with Attack From Mars in both desktop & FS versions. ![]()
